Councillors >Stuart Hodge

After a career spanning over 40 years at Board level with two major corporate organisations, I’ve recently retired and am now able to dedicate more time and energy to causes that matter deeply, especially those within our local community. I bring a thoughtful and pragmatic approach, shaped by years of experience in strategy, governance, and navigating complex challenges. I value collaboration, shared purpose, and inclusive leadership, and feel honoured to contribute to the Parish Council’s work. Retirement is both busy and fulfilling. I enjoy keeping fit using our excellent local facilities, and I’m a keen foodie, whether cooking, discovering, or simply appreciating good food. I also play golf, though “hacking around a course” might be a more accurate description of my game! These interests, along with a genuine commitment to community life, keep me happily grounded. As a long-time resident, I’m particularly keen to support initiatives that strengthen community engagement and ensure that local voices are heard, respected, and reflected in the decisions that shape our future
