Councillors >Neil Hegarty (Flooding Working Group Chairman)

I’m Neil Hegarty and I chair the Parish Council's Flooding Working Group. I’ve been in the village for nearly 5 years when we moved from our long term home in Thames Ditton, but I was a frequent visitor to the village from 2015 when my son and daughter-in-law moved here. I am married to my wife Jax, and we have two sons one of whom lives in the village. Both sons are married with 2 daughters, and my village granddaughters attend the primary school. I spent my career in the chemical engineering industry, initially in engineering, progressing to project then general management and retiring as a Health and Safety Director. I have been a Parish Councillor for 18 months and am pleased to be able to contribute to village life.
